We had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner with MeMa and Jake: turkey, sweetpotato casserole, green bean casserole, stuffing, giblet gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie.
William started off in his high chair, but was eyeing the food. Mommy decided to dip her pinky in the sweet potatoes to give him a taste, and he liked it!
Then William moved over into Mommy's lap. He kept reaching for her silverwear, so Mommy got out William's silver baby spoon and dipped it in the sweetpotatoes, and he LOVED it! He was able to direct the spoon right into his mouth.
And when Mommy would take the spoon away to put a little more sweetpotato on it, William would get upset until he got the spoon back. He enjoyed sucking on it--he finally got to taste some of Mommy's and Daddy's food that he has been studying for the past two and a half months.
