William's outfit today is perfect for the U.S. Olympic Snowboarding Team. He has on a red, white, and blue (with some green) plaid shirt with his jeans and snow boots. He could fit right in with the team's uniform in Vancouver! We took him outside to get a picture in the snow to satisfy our silliness. It is actually a little warmer today, so maybe the snow will eventually melt. As it is, the snow is frozen white ice. William took off towards the backyard--well, took off is not exactly right. He held Mommy's hand to keep his balance because while Mommy was sinking through the six inches of snow still on the ground, William was walking on top of it, not making a dent. He really wants to swing in his swing, but he topples over if he lets go of Mommy's hand. Mommy is so ready for the snow to melt and for spring to show itself. A trip to South Carolina needs to come soon!
We had friends over to play today--four friends for William and two friends for Mommy. All the children played well together and ate a nice little lunch together--all with good table manners!
