William knows best
With the new cooler weather, we have found ourselves scrambling to find shoes for William's bigger feet. He has worn his crocs all summer, so now that socks are needed, we have found his Toy Story sneakers no longer fit. He can wear his Toy Story boat shoes with thin socks, but those are not always a favorite--or the best for the playground. The froggy rainboots were the easiest to grab in a pinch. Last evening we ventured into William's closet to look through the hand-me-downs, hoping something was in there. We had luck! William could wear the size 9 work boots--and he thought they were great! This morning, though, he didn't want a repeat. Hidden in another bag, luckily, was a pair of sneakers. William found them, and they were indeed a size 9. Even better, they have Marvel comic book characters on the side. We both new Spider Man--that was easy. I knew The Thing, which William wanted to convince me was a "bad guy" until I told him he was part of the Fantastic Four, to which William replied, "That's right." I did not know the third character. William confidently said, "That's Iron Man." Oh, yeah! He looks different to me in cartoon than live action movie. But William knows because "That's Daddy's show."
