We did have the picture Easter cookies that we forgot to bake over Easter, so I figured a warm stove and surprise snack for his kindergarten class might be nice. Both boys had nutrigrain waffles first, but once the cookies were done, they had a fresh hot one. Okay, they grabbed a second. I immediately bagged the others so they would not be eaten. William asked how many were going to school, so I told him the box made 24. If they each had two cookies, how many were left. He skipped the step of saying they had eaten four and immediately said 20! Great! He was so proud, he wanted to write the "story" and write down his own word problem. Awesome, buddy!
