Too Smart!

William decided today to figure out how to use a zipper! Mommy already stowed her make-up and other bottles inside zippered bags in the bottom bathroom drawer. William has unloaded the drawer now for months, taking everything out and then putting it all back, but the make-up has been safely locked away in the bags. But today, he figured out how to grab the little tags on the zippers and pull--opening up the bags to reveal bottles of make-up remover and a stash of lipsticks. That's all we need, for William to next open the tubes of lipstick and get them all over the place. Mommy put the bags back in the drawer and removed William from the area. She showed William all the new 18 month clothes that Aunt Jamie had given to him. They are currently in a pile on the floor of William's room, washed, but in need of the room to be reorganized so they can be put away. William saw a Sesame Street jacket with Cookie Monster and Elmo on it. He got the biggest grin and picked it out of the pile. He then unzipped the jacket as if he was going to put it on. Mommy is very proud of William's new accomplishment--it just means she lost her hiding place and life will be a little harder. =p
