weekend of fun

We had lots of fun this weekend!  William and Mommy made yummy frozen banana ghosts.  Friday morning, we went to open play at the Bright Stars Gym.  William got to jump on trampolines, swing from ropes, walk on balance beams, go through obstacle courses, jump into a pit of foam blocks, and have all sorts of fun.
Saturday afternoon, our family met our neighbor family at the zoo.  William and Adelyn had a great time walking around together, but I think the most fun they had was chasing the guinea hens that roam the zoo.  A gaggle(?--it works for geese) of them walked by, and William and Adelyn took off after them, laughing the whole time.  No guinea hens were hurt--they knew to hide behind the fence.
Sunday afternoon was a Halloween party.  William and Charles got to dress in their costumes for a day of fun.  William is Captain Jack Sparrow, and Charles is a cowboy.
Cousins Samuel (Lightning McQueen) and Gabriel (Storm Trooper) were also there.

They had balloon battles.
They decorated pumpkins.
They played freeze dance.

They had a mummy pinata.
And then were dressed as mummies.

The party ended with ice cream.  What a great afternoon!
