Cowboy William

On Sunday, William and Charles got to help Granddaddy move hay bales to feed the horses. We rode in the SUV, and they had fun bouncing over the bumpy pastures. Then we got out to see how the mechanism worked to pick up the hay bales. On our third trip. William and Charles got to sit on top of a hay bale. They thought that was great. And when William slid off by himself onto the ground, he yelled out, "That was awesome!" We then were put in charge of shooing horses away from an open gate. Charles enjoyed petting one of the horses, but as they proved to be ornery, we had to physically push two if them away from the gate as they tried to get through. They had so much fun!
