Playground boo-boo
Since this was our first gorgeous day this spring, we hurried home after William's school to change clothes and pack a picnic lunch before going to Castle Park. William had lots of fun running around until he hurried to follow Charles and me up the wooden stairs. He missed a step and slipped, cutting his elbow and skinning his nose. The tears and crying would not stop, so we left to go home. I asked what his elbow felt like (ignoring the nose that he could not see and therefore was not upset about), and William said he felt "pain." I asked what kind of pain, and he said, "It feels like a monster is biting me." What a great description!
