William has been counting down our trip to SC with such anticipation, we finally had to make a paper chain countdown calendar. He didn't want to go to school the last week opting to go to the beach right away. His last week of school had fun events to keep him happy, though. Wednesday, he had a graduation ceremony and ice cream party. His class sang all their sings from the year and received diplomas. Then William got to make a cement stepping stone with his hand print. He also got to add jewels to it. Lovely!
Friday was William's last day. He gave his teacher a hug and as we drove away, he said, "It is the last day of school, but I am sad. Now my school is my old school." Next year he switched to a new school. Most of his classmates will also be switching to his new school, too.
