March 27--10 Months Old
William turned 10 months old today, and we had lovely spring weather, so Mommy and William spent the morning at the Cape May Zoo.
William got to watch the snowy owl's cage being cleaned--he was actually more interested in the person cleaning the cage than the owl. =)
The peacock showed off his lovely feathers and knew to stand facing the sun for the best lighting.
The bison was out in full view--normally he is hidden.
The alligators are still inside the reptile house. As William and Mommy looked in, the alligator in front of the window had his head flat on the ground. But as we stood there admiring him, Mommy could see his little eyes watching. All of a sudden, pop!, up went his head as if to say, "That would be a tasty little morsel!"

I remember visiting the zoo with you and William last fall. It is a lovely zoo. We have had a cold, rainy day here in South Carolina. Wish I could have been with you!

Sounds like a fun outing! We haven't taken Austin to the zoo yet... I'm sure he'd enjoy it... we'll have to do that soon.
