Squinkies

William asked for squinkies for Easter, and against my better judgement, the Easter Bunny delivered. They are tiny and perfect for Charles to choke on. Therefore William misplaces them often and makes me worried. Spider-Man runs away the most. William told me Spider-Man thinks the trees outside are buildings and climbs them. When the toy disappeared the last time, I told William he had to find him, or I would put them all away. William cried in his playroom where Spider-Man had last been, "Come back, Spider-Man! Spider-Man, come back!" He then asked me why he runs away. He is not upset that the toy took off, just that the others will be put away if he does not come back. He thinks the toys are real. That makes it even harder to find the toys. Today, the Silver Surfer went missing. When I asked William where he had him last, he said he didn't know, that he just ran off. Then he said he may have gone outside to the backyard. William had not been outside, so his imagination is not helping the search. So cute, but extremely frustrating when mommy is worried about a baby choking.

At this time, all squinkies are accounted for, and all are in their box in time out. No more searches today. The Easter Bunny may get a package returned to sender.
