Well, Mommy forgot to turn off her alarm before getting in the shower, and when the radio went off, it woke William. He wasn't ready to wake up and started to cry for Daddy. Daddy was still home, but once he held William, William wouldn't let him go. Mommy had to sit in bed with William for a while to get him calm again--finally managing to get up herself to dry her hair and get ready for work.
William finally woke up completely and got in a much better mood. We came downstairs to make William's breakfast and Mommy's lunch. When Mommy changed the paper towel roll, William reached for the empty tube and said, "Mommy, telescope." Huh? He knows that word? Anyway, he peered at Mommy through the telescope while she made her sandwich.
While William was sitting on the counter, he was sipping his milk and Mommy made his juice for school. William decided he wanted to mix the two, so he put both the spout of his milk cup and the straw of his juice cup in his mouth to suck the two together. Strange combination, but funny to watch!
