microwave bagel bites in Spanish

After a busy day, we realized it was late for dinner, so I asked William if he would like little pizzas (bagel bites). He said yes, so I asked if he wanted them in the microwave or the oven. He said the microwave. So after they were done and on his plate, he said they were sticky (microwave is not as crunchy as oven), and didn't want to eat them. I told him I was sorry, but the microwave is faster, and he had said he wanted the microwave. William replied, "I didn't know what microwave meant. I didn't know what you were saying. You were speaking Spanish!"
