William made another goal on Saturday at soccer practice! They had a little scrimmage at the end of practice, and William was the only one to score on either "team." Woo-hoo!
Earlier that morning, William and I had a little breakfast date. It was just the two of us, and we went to Starbucks for breakfast and then shopped for his cupcakes for his party. It was so nice spending some one-on-one time again--that hasn't happened for nine months! William, though, was not thrilled we left Charles, though. He said next time it needs to be the three of us: Mommy, William, and Charles.
William had a sore throat this weekend, so we called his doctor who called in medicine for him. William only has to take 1/4 tsp of candy flavored medicine, but he refuses! He actually spit it out three times! We have to put it in his grape juice, and then all is fine.
Yesterday, William stayed home from school, so we had lots of down time. While we were cleaning up his room, he pulled out one of my old books with all the parts of the illustrations labeled. William sat down to read the book and did an awesome job of sounding out the words! He is reading before the age of four! Go William!
